VITEX – Yannidis Bros SA, a Greek architectural coatings manufacturer, recently won the “Environment and Green Development” award at the ACCI Awards 2013.

The awards ceremony was held at the “Megaron Mousikis” in the presence of political and business representatives. The opening speech, addressed to the entrepreneurs, was made by the Prime Minister Antonis Samaras, and the awards were given by the Minister of Development and Growth Kostis Hadjidakis.

“This year’s award for our company is the culmination of initiatives that have been taken in the direction of sustainable growth for many years and from many people in our organization,” said Armodios Yannidis, executive vice president of VITEX. “It is the fifth consecutive sustainability award given to our company and we celebrate it by offering all our eco-friendly products with an additional discount of five percent. Part of the revenues from this offer will go to charity – our company will paint five houses of families with no income completely for free.”
